I began tabling at comic conventions in 2018, and it has since become one of the most valuable parts of my continued creative growth. Sharing my work with others, seeing reactions, and befriending similar minded artists is so invigorating!

In addition to showcasing original artwork, a popular part of these shows is a sometimes controversial art form known as fan art. Related to the master copies of traditional painters, I see this practice of drawing pre-existing characters from popular culture as a fantastic way to learn about the art I love and refine my developing drawing style.
